1. Who We Are

Practical Business AI ("we," "our," or "us") is a small AI consulting and education business based in Louisiana, USA. The site at practical-business-ai.netlify.app is owned and operated by Daryl Taylor.

2. What We Collect

We try to keep this short and honest. Here is everything we collect:

Chat Conversation Content

When you chat with one of our AI personas (Joy, Michelle, Rachel, etc.), the messages you type are sent to our AI providers (currently OpenRouter and Anthropic) so they can generate a response. Both providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle that data.

Conversation Metadata

We store basic metadata about your chat session in our Supabase database, including the persona ID you spoke with, message counts, and timestamps. This helps us improve the experience and route conversations to the right specialist.

Affiliate Click Events

When you click an affiliate link to Boss Suite, we may log that click event so we can track attribution and improve the site.

Voluntary Contact Information

If you choose to share your name, email, or phone number with one of our AI personas during a chat, we may store that information so we can follow up with you. You are never required to share this — it is entirely optional.

Browser Local Storage

We use a small amount of data stored locally in your own browser to remember things like your voice mode preference and any active hand-off context between personas. This data lives on your device, not on our servers.

Standard Server Logs

Our hosting provider (Netlify) collects standard server logs that include your IP address and user agent. These are used for security, abuse prevention, and basic site analytics.

3. How We Use It

• To run and improve the service. Conversations help us tune the AI personas and fix bugs.
• To attribute affiliate sales. Click data helps us understand which content drives Boss Suite sign-ups.
• To follow up on your inquiry. If you give us your contact info during a chat, we may reach out to help you further or answer questions.

We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising on this site.

4. Who We Share With

We only share data with the small set of vendors required to make the site work:

• OpenRouter and Anthropic — our AI providers. Your chat messages pass through their systems so the AI can respond. Their privacy policies govern how they handle that traffic.
• Supabase — our database host. They store conversation metadata and any voluntary contact info you provide.
• Netlify — our hosting provider. Standard server logs and uptime data live with them.
• Stan Store — if you click through our affiliate link and decide to purchase Boss Suite, Stan Store handles that transaction. They collect and process your purchase information per their own privacy policy.

5. Your Rights

Whether you are in California (CCPA), the EU/UK (GDPR), or anywhere else, we want you to have real control over your information.

• Right to know. You can ask us what data we have about you.
• Right to delete. You can ask us to delete your data and we will honor that request.
• Right to opt out. You can ask us to stop processing your data for any non-essential purpose.
• Right to non-discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, just email christianpatriot111@gmail.com from the address you used (or describe what you shared) and we will take care of it.

6. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We keep this minimal. The values stored locally in your browser are:

• pbai_voice_mode — remembers whether you prefer voice or text chat.
• pbai_handoff — remembers context when one persona hands you off to a teammate.
• pbai_switch_count (sessionStorage) — counts persona switches in the current session.

We do not currently run third-party tracking pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Tag, TikTok Pixel, etc.). If we add any in the future, we will update this policy and show a consent banner where required.

8. Affiliate Disclosure

We are an independent affiliate. We are not employed by, agents of, or partners with Boss Suite or Madison Hatten. See our Terms of Service for the full picture.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will change the effective date at the top of the page. For meaningful changes (new tracking, new vendors, expanded data collection) we will do our best to notify active users via the chat interface or by email if we have one on file.
